SCHOLARSHIPS FOR RUTGERS–CAMDEN STUDENTS
1. For Rutgers-Camden students in the College of Arts and Sciences and University College:
The Odyssey Fund, established by JoAnn Mower in 2010, "will support undergraduate students in the Camden College of Arts and Sciences and University College who take an International Studies course. Each student will receive a one-time award to be used toward the cost of the associated trip."
2. For Rutgers-Camden students in the School of Business, the School of Nursing, and the College of Arts and Sciences:
The Edward P. and Carolyn Kiessling Annual Fund for International Studies, established in 2013, supports programs and activities involving international programs at Rutgers-Camden. The Fund may be used to "provide scholarships to students from Rutgers-Camden participating in international study courses and/or programs" and to "provide modest stipends for students participating in international study courses," among other uses. Available mostly to undergraduates but in some circumstances a graduate student may receive an award.
3. For students who demonstrate need:
Students who demonstrate considerable financial need are eligible to receive a limited number of additional Learning Abroad scholarships. The Scholarship Committee will take into consideration your financial aid data as well as your short-answer responses in the scholarship application. Please address any specific financial need in Question 2 of the application.
Grants will range from $500 to $1500. Deadline for submission is December 8, 2017; decisions will be announced by December 22, 2017. Any Rutgers-Camden student can apply for a scholarship regardless of application status.
