The Spanish MAT program in Spain offers the unique opportunity to experience the educational curriculum of one of the oldest universities in Spain, the University of Salamanca (1218), one of the most influential linguistic centers in the world. The MAT at the University of Salamanca designs the standards for Spanish as a Second Language at the most prestigious global institute dedicated to this subject, the Cervantes Institute. Students will have the ability to experience this pedagogical opportunity with fellow educators from all over the world.

Trip Highlights include the opportunity to experience the monumental Renaissance campus that invented the notion of a Spanish Grammar (the first method was published by this university in 1492). Learning Abroad in Salamanca provides the ability to engage in a global education community of teachers of the same subject, Spanish, from all over the world, in one of the most beautiful, affordable, and safe cities in Spain.
